Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of two advanced practice providers (APPs) at Manistee Hospital.
• We work closely with a Medical Director and a discharge planner nurse
• Manistee Hospital is a small 25-bed hospital, so we have built great partnerships with regional centers when we have patients who require a higher level of care

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible physician assistants.

Flexible Scheduling:

• We work 12-hour shifts. We do not work a strict seven-on-off schedule but work as a team to arrive at a schedule that works well for both providers while still meeting our contracted number of shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• We practice independently in an observation unit. Because this site lacks specialty support, our patients are typically of lower acuity.
• We have a great relationship with and work closely with the ED providers and the local orthopedic and general surgical groups.
